Helpful Tip: For best results, make sure to photograph your wall standing directly head on and center to where the painting will hang. Include the dimensions of your wall and couch, if applicable.
When words aren't sufficient, there is abstract art....Abstract art is the platform by which human emotions can be released...then transferred. There are no words to describe the depths of the emotions I have to dig into in order to give birth to my art. Yes birth...the process of creating one of my pieces is so painstaking at times...and yet so equally euphoric...a mental and emotional dance of joy, pain, tears, laughs, rejection, acceptance...and ultimately, the most fulfilling thing I've ever done.
Stand back and stare....my emotions, represented by endless layers of dramatic paint and texture, unfold before you like a grand vista of mountains and valleys.......keep staring....experience an infinite spectrum of sensual enlightenment.....go ahead, touch...it's ok...for a moment all else is silenced...you are completely present in the moment...journeying into the landscape of your soul....uninhibited....a complete escape from the stress and mental chatter...This sense of euphoria, of healing...is a feat only visual art and the grandnss of Mother Nature can accomplish.
A great artist once said, "a painting is never finished - it simply stops in interesting places." I challenge myself to find my interesting stopping point....the eternal battle to straddle the fine line between painting with a spontaneous abstract spirit and painting with an eye for design...always aiming to leave enough mystery for the viewer's imagination to roam freely. When a painting is left open to interpretation, each person that views it will eventually find their own personal translation...images within the art, much like those found when watching clouds...making it all that much more enjoyable and healing in nature.
